Married Life plus an update

"How is married life? Do you love it?" seems to be the top question every person asks a newlywed. Us especially. My answer has always been (for 6 weeks now) "i love it!" and in all honesty, it isn't an exaggeration. I have a wonderful husband. People will always tell you to find someone who makes you a better person, and because of Jared, i am. He makes me want to be better. In every aspect of my life. And i love that.

Because we are now married, I feel as though I should give you an update on our lives. Unfortunately, this isn't one of those fashion or foodie blogs... just another married couple's blog!

We got married on November 29th, 2012 in the Mesa, Arizona temple. We had a wonderful ceremony and were able to be surrounded by all of our family and friends. Our reception was held outside and it was beautiful. Now yes, everyone thinks their wedding is the best... but hate to brag.. ours was. (kidding) We were able to visit with tons of family and friends while eating an abundance of milk and cookies. It was adorable. Everyone who helped did a fantastic job. We really couldn't have done it without them.

Jared is finishing his last semester at ASU studying kinesiology and is really enjoying it. He works his bum off being a full time student and working for his parents (and my fantastic in-laws... did i mention that they are wonderful?) basically re-doing their house. Anything from laying a wood floor, painting a house (inside and out), landscape, building cabinets, building and surfacing a brand new fire place, and now building walls to go in their basement... he does it all. He is such a hard worker and someone i really do admire. He works or goes to school all day and rarely complains ever. It's amazing. On top of all of this, he is applying to graduate school to receive a masters in Health Administration. We are excited to move someday and start yet another new adventure together!

I am currently working at the "tree house" as i like to call it, being an office manager for a tree climbing company. I also keep busy coaching a year round swim team for Mesa Aquatics Club, and still find myself life guarding for the City of Mesa at least once a week. When i am not doing that, I cut and color hair for family and friends out of my home! I enjoy staying super busy and wouldn't change it for anything.

We are living in an apartment in northern Mesa and absolutely love it and our ward. We live next to a child who tends to cry right around 7am (too early for me if you ask!) but other then that.. no complaints.

Like i said earlier, we absolutely love being married and have so much fun figuring out this whole "married life" thing. We are so excited to see what else is in store for us.

Stay tuned to read another married couple's blog. (Next time i will share some of our funny stories)
