PROMOTION!!!

I AM THE NEW HEAD COACH AT KINO THIS SUMMER.

i am so freaking excited. i was a mess.

want the whole story? good. cause i am about to type it all out.

OKAY:

so, there i was, working at skyline pool with Benjamin Scott and Alleigh Knapp when Lynn called.

side note-- lynn is like my boss. for coaching.

she talked to ben, told him she had news for me and was on her way over.

i freaked out. almost wanted to throw up.

my stomach was FREAKING out.

so when she came... i started hyperventilating.

she told me i got promoted, and after long talks... (if you really wanna know what she said, ask me. i dont wanna sound conceded on the blog) I SCREAMED WITH EXCITEMENT. (inside of course) #tryintobprofessional

i am so excited and honored to be at kino. it will be a lot of work, but i seriously cannot wait.

and especially since 2 of my very best friends were the previous head coaches there, i got lots of help.

so people, sign your children up to be apart of the kino krawdad team.

--another side note, i have caught, cooked, and consumed a krawdad. (liked the use of parrallelism there? here's to people who think i am blonde)

and come visit me all day in the summer!

and for some advice for all of you potential lifeguards... things i learned this weekend

• girls are gross. and dirty, and smelly. so are guys though
• refilling toilet paper can be exhausting
• trash juice on your favorite new hot pink sweat pants makes for one unhappy guard
• even when it's cold and windy, the sun still burns you. take off your sunglasses so you don't look like a freak.
• the key with the word "fun" on it isn't for the fem boxes
• kids don't know how to pick up trash... let's fix that.
