-a sweetheart. through and through. my mom is the nicest mom to me, even when i mess up or am a brat to her (which never happens, i mean out of all 8 kids i AM the angel child)
-HA-LARIOUS! have you READ her facebook posts? nuff said.
-#1 fan. my mom has never missed a swim meet, choir concert, church talk (okay she missed one), school dance (again.. just my senior prom... nbd) but even if she misses it, she still supports me. she is always there cheering me on, wishing me the best, and always there at the "finish line" to congratulate me!
-NEEEEEAT freak! does anyone have a cleaner house than ours? no. i promise. you could EAT off our floors they are so clean. now do i love this? of course. sometimes, i hate it. which is why my room is a weee bit on the messy side. but she loves me for it.
-in shape! my mom motivates me, whether she knows it or not, to keep in shape and not get fat. heck, i hope one day when i age a little that i look like her!
-best grandma. really. she plays with each one of them so well. yes, we tease her sometimes, but she really doesnt have a favorite and loves each one of them the same!
-willing to do anything. whether it's play sports, watch a movie, make cookies, go out to eat, anything, my mom is always positive and happy about doing it. she is such an optomistic person.
-my best friend. this goes a LOOONG way. throughout my teenage years, i thought my mom was invisible. hey, let's all agree, we all thought that. but now as i have grown and matured (wink, wink) i have really come to understand why the prophets and apostles talk so much about the importance of having your mom as your best friend. i can tell my mom anything. and sure, we fight sometimes, or butt heads about things, but i can never stay mad at her. EVER. she is such an amazing mom, and truly is my best friend. there really is no other way to put it.
-spiritual giant. yes, my mom is 5 foot nothing (jk maybe 5'4'') but she has the greatest testimony and is NEVER afraid to share it. i LOVE it.
-shows me the importance of being a good mom. not only being a good mom, but being a good wife. one day, i want the relationship my parents have. they still are best of friends after 30 something years. that is amazing. they always laugh and joke and just have fun... yet know when to be serious. they are so easy to talk to about anything.
mom, i love you so much. these characteristics are not easy to find.. and lucky for me, i get to see them all every day. thank you so much for who you are. and for all you have taught me. you have honestly taught me what it means to be a daughter of god. thank you for everything. thanks for being there for me when i need it most. i love you mom! :)
