...it;s the HOLIDAY season...

AND I AM SO EXCITED!!!!

okay so i realize that thanksgiving is in like 2 weeks, and don't get me wrong, i LOVE thanksgiving. i love eating all day, spending the entire day with my family who i love, and then of course ending it with my favorite key lime pie, only to wake up and celebrate my big 19 birthday the next day. But let me tell ya, the day after thanksgiving CLEAR UP TO the week after New Years is my ABSOLUTE favorite time of the year. Why you may ask? Well allow me to share:

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS:

I absolutely LOVE Christmas lights. the ones at people's houses are cool, but the temple lights are my absolute FAVORITE! you cannot go wrong with the most gorgeous place in the world along with beautiful lights... accentuating its beauty! (p.s. pretend i spelled that right!)

Christmas Cards:

o boy do i love Christmas cards. and when they include newsletters allowing me the opportunity to know about that individual person makes it all the better. I really love getting them from people like waaaay older than me, but that i knew FOREVER ago, those are fun. also, this year we are in the process of sending out Christmas cards, and let me tell ya, its a crazy-hard process. how on earth are we supposed to get a good picture like close up of 30 stinkin people? its quite impossible. although, nothing is impossible for our family. So today is our picture taking day!! (i decided i wanna get a cardboard cut out and insert *You TOO can be a part of this family!*)

Goodies:

really? who DOESN'T love gaining 40 pounds during the holidays?

The Weather:

hence the picture below! but let me tell ya, this cold weather is amazing. i love it. although my least favorite part is waking up in the morning and having to get out of the shower, especially since we don't have hot water. yeah it blows!!! but its all good. because that is CLEARLY what snow jackets and boots and tights and jeans and long sleeves and scarves are for. OYE i love the weather!

Family Parties:

now, i understand many of you may NOT like this part of the holidays, because it seems like there is something going on EVERY night, but when you are single, its awesome. Like i said earlier, i love my family, and any chance to get together with them is amazing. This year, we are going to the ROSE PARADE and man, i cannot possibly wait (like a child on Christmas morning, o wait, i still don't sleep the night before!). but because i am in school, its my only weekend off till i graduate and i am SOOOOO excited to get a break and go to cAli, My ALL TIME favorite place to vacay!!! its gonna be bomb !! nuff said!

99.9 A.K.A. DELILAH:

Do you not LOVE this woman? i do. hahah

okay no, i love the music she chooses to play each night. i love walking outside and hearing it all around me, i love being inside my house and hearing it, or in my car with the heater turned up. i LOVE Christmas music. and not gonna lie, i have been listening to it since September!!! SO good!

Hot Chocolate:

pretty sure if i could drink hot chocolate while in pj pants and slippers the rest of my life until i died, i am pretty positive i would be A OKAY with that!!! :)
